We think children with Communication Disorders deserve more that what they are currently getting in the public service, so we have started building a sustainable, subsidised speech-language therapy service for children with Communication Disorders through our 'communication currency for kids' initiative.
Our team of Dedicated Referrers, Community Partners, and Nominated Providers make efficient, effective, early intervention a reality in Aotearoa New Zealand through service guarantees of consistent comprehensive communication screening, a first appointment in 10 days, and an initial assessment in 30 days - guaranteed.

Standing together in the speech-language therapy gap
If you are an NZSTA-registered, independent SLT practitioner or independent SLT practice with the vision create a future where children with Communication Disorders have timely access to quality speech-language therapy, and if you believe families should have another choice besides only a cost-less public speech-language therapy service and a cost-full private speech-language service, then we invite you to partner with us as a Nominated Provider.
As a Nominated Provider, you will provide excellent, private-level speech-language therapy services for any children referred to you via our Dedicated Referrer partners. Your financial investment in the 'communication currency for kids' initiative will be in the form of a one-off initial $40 subsidy extended by you to the family of each child referred to you. We do not take a percentage cut and will pay forward 100% of impact partner investments to you to pay forward into families' pockets in the form of subsidies for agreed services and costs as delivered by you.
You will sign a service agreement and commit to providing consistent comprehensive screening, a first appointment in 10 days, and an initial assessment in 30 days for families at subsidised rates. Your name and / or your practice name and logo will be listed on our Nominated Provider page and in all our social media and impact publications.
